Colan Totte Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Osaka, Japan. CEO: Katsumi Komatsu), manufacturer and distributor of the Colantotte brand of magnetic health gear, concluded an advisory contract with Toshiya Okada of the Chunichi Dragons on April 1, 2020.
In the spring of his first year at Chiben Wakayama Senior High School, Toshiya Okada was picked to be on the regular player of the school’s baseball team. He played in the semi-finals and finals of the prefectural tournament that summer, and he also participated in the National High School Baseball Championship, which raised his profile. He distinguished himself as an ace pitcher among the several other pitchers used each year.
He was drafted in 2009 and joined the Chunichi Dragons as a first pick. He has been a valuable force on the team, serving as starting left-handed pitcher, relief pitcher, and shut-out pitcher. He has been using Colantotte products for some time and has experienced their effects firsthand, saying, “I can feel my blood circulation improving thanks to their magnetic effects.”
In 2017, he underwent surgery for a blood flow disorder and recovered after going through rehabilitation. He is expected to play a valuable role as left-handed pitcher on the Chunichi Dragons this season.
