At Seijo High School, as ace and captain, he achieved the unprecedented feat of winning the triple crown (Inter-High School Championships, National Sports Festival, and Spring High School Volleyball Tournament) for two consecutive years, making a name for himself nationwide. In his first year of university, he became the youngest player ever to be selected for the Japanese national team. That same year, he became the first Japanese university student to play for Modena, a prestigious club in Italy's top volleyball league, Serie A. After graduating from university, he continued to play professionally for Italian teams, winning a cup championship with Milan, his first title.
As captain and ace of the Japanese national team, he won the first-ever bronze medal in the 2023 Nations League. The following year, he won a silver medal.
He played for 10 seasons in Italy's top volleyball league, Serie A, and with Sir Safety Perugia, he became the first Japanese male player to win the European Champions League in 2025, and subsequently reached the top of the World Club Championship.
He continues to challenge himself towards his goal of becoming "the best player in the world."

In 2006, he won the Golf Digest (GD) Long Drive Championship in Japan and represented the country at the LDA World Championships in the United States. He turned professional in 2007.
In 2008, he achieved an unprecedented third consecutive victory at the LDJ Kansai tournament and finished the year ranked No. 1 in the GD Champions League. In 2011, he set a GD-certified Japanese record with a drive of 415 yards, which he surpassed the following year with a new GD/LDA-certified Japanese record of 417 yards.

In 2007, he secured a seed for the first half of the season through the Challenge Tour. Since then, he has maintained his regular tour seed for 10 consecutive years. Born into a prestigious sporting family, she began competing at a young age under the influence of her father, Hiroshi Saito, a Seoul 1988 Olympian and the National Team Coach for the London 2012 Olympics.

She began her journey in baton twirling at the age of 4 in her hometown of Hiroshima. In her senior year of high school, she made her international debut at the WBTF International Cup, where she secured a bronze medal in the Three-Baton category in her very first appearance.
She later joined the Ritsumeikan University Baton Team, contributing to back-to-back gold medals at the World Championships. At the International Cup, she achieved further success with a team gold medal and an individual silver in Three-Baton. At the All Japan Championships, she made history as the first athlete ever to achieve three consecutive Grand Champion titles in the Three-Baton division.
Entertainment & Media
Her career expanded into professional performance after joining Muscle Musical, appearing in over 100 shows. She has also performed alongside top-tier artists, including Momoiro Clover Z and SMAP (for their single Joy!). In 2015, she formed the unique athlete-artist unit "RA-BA-SIN," where she not only performs but also writes lyrics.
Furthermore, she is a prominent cast member of the acrobatic theatre group Samurai Rock Orchestra, where she has played numerous pivotal roles. Today, while active as a professional baton twirler in television, commercials, and live events, she also dedicates her time to coaching and choreography.
