Contract Signed with Young Up-and-Coming PGA Men's Pro Golfer, Rickie Fowler

Arc Quest Co., Ltd (Headquartered in Chuo-ku, Osaka, Japan, President: Katsumi Komatsu, hereafter Arc Quest), a manufacturer and distributor of medical devices, general merchandise and household products, has signed a contract with Pro Golfer, Rickie Fowler, to endorse the "Colantotte" brand of products. The three-year contract period will run from February 15, 2010 through December 31, 2012.

Fowler is 21 and from the United States. His middle name, Yutaka, comes from his grandfather. He began golfing when he was 14 and distinguished himself when he was in college.

Between 2007 and 2008, he was number one in the Amateur World rankings for thirty-six consecutive weeks. He was the first freshman in history to be selected as the NCAA's (National Collegiate Athletic Association) best player. Not even Tiger Woods achieved this distinction.

In 2009, he finished in the top 10 twice in four tournaments, and successfully gained his PGA Tour Card, the fastest in the history of the PGA. From this season's opening, Fowler is expected to be a winner in several tournaments as a rookie. He is the youngest player in the PGA tour, and is wildly popular in the United States. As of April 6, 2010, he had earned $916,000 (Approximately 86,100,000 yen).

Fowler joins pro golfers Ryo Ishikawa and Rory McIlroy, with whom Arc Quest has signed contracts. This trio of the most popular young players will shoulder the golfing world into the next generation. "Ryo" Ishikawa, "Rory" McIlroy, and "Rickie" Fowler are known as the "3R's."
