Colantotte, the manufacturer and distributor of magnetic health gear, (Head office: Chuo-ku, Osaka - President & CEO Katsumi Komatsu) has signed an advisory contract with a badminton player, Kodai Naraoka (FWD Group).
Kodai Naraoka won in the singles division at the National Elementary School Badminton Championship for the third year in a row, and won in the singles division at the National Junior High School Badminton Championship for the third year in a row. At the All-Japan Badminton Championships, in which he competed for the first time at the age of 13, he broke the record for the youngest player to win the tournament, which drew wide public attention.
He went on to Aomori Prefectural Namioka High School, known as a strong badminton school, and won the Inter-High School Championship. He won a bronze medal in the men's singles at the 2018 Youth Olympic Games and a silver medal in the men's singles at the 2023 World Championships. He is currently ranked No. 1 in Japan (as of October 6) and No. 5 in the world (as of October 31) in the men's singles, and his further success is expected in the future.
Impressed by Naraoka's continued efforts to achieve his goal of becoming the world’s best player, Colantotte has signed a contract with him, hoping to make a leap forward together while supporting him through body care.
